Why Isn't This Nyquil Working?

So Ive been up since like 3:00 this morning because my throat hurts so bad I can't sleep, but I don't care. For anyone who'd like to know why, it's because i feel tanked and numb now i chugged about half the bottle and now I kinda have that drunken need to smoke but I have no smokes, now I shall find a way to get some. I can barely read any of this, I hope it makes a little sense. Bubye!!
